This elegant, romantic seaside house, was newly built in 2013, See Saw Sea is a stylish, contemporary, impeccably clean house over 3 floors. Behind its keyless luscious pink front door, the lower ground floor hides a bedroom with a huge 4-poster, a designer bath (next to the bed) and a mirrored wet room (with a huge shower head; big enough for two...) Then upstairs, to the shiny black kitchen and lounge with gold sofa bed and Corbusier recliner. Up the gold-balustraded stairs once more to the sun-filled roof terrace, with oblique sea views. Recline into See Saw Sea's dark opulence, for a few nights of sexy, decadent pleasure. Should you want to go out, you are within kissing distance of exciting St James's Street in Kemp Town - close to the beach and all attractions.
Do not disturb
What you enjoy at See Saw Sea is your business, not ours, that's why you don't even meet anyone to check in and out. We will text you the number for the keyless door and everything will be ready for you including a welcome pack of real coffee, teabags, milk, sugar. Kimonos, towels, soap, bluetooth speakers and the smell of jasmine will hopefully relax you.
Get naughty in the 6ft wide, Superking four poster bed with black satin bedding and feather quilt and pillows. Jasmine fills the space to life your mood. Choose a book from the erotic library in the living area. Red Kartell lamps finish the look and beautiful black blinds ensure privacy and lie-ins. If you would like non feather quilt and pillows they are stored under the bed.
Fall out of your bed and into your designer double-ended bath, whilst sipping champagne under the warm glow of the beautifully backlit 16th century masterpiece that ordinarily hangs in the Louvre.
Get steamy in the wetroom big enough for 2, with Italian gold tiles, infinity mirrors, thermostatic shower with 40cm rain shower head and microphone hand shower, underfloor heating, designer fittings, silky kimonos, luxury 800gsm towels, all decorated in sensuous black and gold.
Decadent and beautiful, with a Corbusier chaise longue, gold sofa bed, Jaime Hayon lamps, contemporary art and photography by RYCA, Faile, Manel Ortega, Dupenny and more. Plus the sexiest erotic library with literature by DH Lawrence, Anais Nin, Alan Hollinghurst, Erica Jong, Dylan Thomas and many more. The kitchen and living area are bright and airy, painted Farrow & Ball Almost Black (like the rest of the house), with beautiful black blinds to ensure privacy.
Black gloss kitchen at one end of living area complete with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster coffee maker, pans, solid bronze cutlery, Vista Alegre crockery and tempting cookery and cocktail books. With 2 breakfast stools and breakfast table, sipping coffee or drinking cocktails will have never felt so relaxing.
The heated decked terrace with table and chairs is a beautiful sun trap and somewhere to sip champagne whilst watching the sun go down.
We have 3 charges (low, mid and high season) of weekend, mid week or weekly.
We prefer for you to stay a minimum of 3 nights, so if you only stay for one or two nights we have to charge a slight premium.
Longer stays can be arranged. Just contact us to discuss further.
All bookings incur a £38 cleaning charge but there are no bills to pay.
The nearest free car parking is located north of Albion Hill about a 10 minute downhill walk back to the house. A limited number of Zone C resident parking permits are available for £10 a day.
There is a £200 breakages deposit which is returned to you after you vacate the house in the same condition it was found - this can be paid easily via PayPal.
'Brighton is the most vibrant seaside resort in England. Just an hour from London, it is a thriving, cosmopolitan city with a Bohemian spirit; home to an exuberant gay community, a dynamic student population and a healthy number of ageing and new-age hippies, as well as traditional candyfloss fun.'
See Saw Sea is so close to the many things to do in Brighton. Try to include the following in your trip:
The Royal Pavilion is the UK's most eccentric royal residence. Its Indian-style domes and minarets look as outlandish today as they did when it was built nearly 200 years ago by John Nash.
Brighton Pier still has all the old-time delights of the English seaside – fairground rides, candy floss and rows of striped deckchairs.
Set in the Royal Pavilion's stable block, the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery has a glittering horde of 20th-century art and design, including a Dalí sofa modeled on Mae West's lips.
The Brighton Sea Life Centre is the world's oldest working aquarium. Its 150 marine species include sharks, which you can see from below thanks to a clear-walled underwater tunnel.
Once a fishing village, the maze of narrow streets and alleyways that makes up the Lanes is today home to jewellers, gift shops and boutiques selling everything from antique firearms to designer shoes. The shopping gets even more diverse as you go further along Bond, Gardner, Kensington and Sydney Streets into the North Laine shopping district.
There are great bars, clubs and restaurants on your doorstep. If you're looking for somewhere quirky and funky you can't do better than Bom Banes - it's about 4 streets west of See Saw Sea on George Street - it has the loveliest, craziest tables (lift the pepper pot on one of them, press buttons on another to light up a beautifully built fully lit pier complete with waves under a glass table, other tables do secret things) and and the nicest lady Jane Bom Bane runs it.
The Three and Ten bar is at the bottom of St James's Street (the road at the bottom of Devonshire Place) town end, take a left at the Sussex Beacon shop and it's hidden away there - it's dark and sexy.
Mucky Duck on Manchester Street - again towards bottom of St James's, on your left hand side - has great art, is very dark, usually good DJ Friday and Saturday.
Black Dove is your local - it's at the bottom of Devonshire Place, turn left and it's on the corner of St James's and Rock Gardens. It's a Brooklyn beer bar, is very busy, has a funky DJ downstairs and candles that look like they've been there a hundred years.
If you like real ale - the Hand in Hand is Brighton's oldest brewery - cross over from Black Dove and continue down St George's Road and it's on your right hand side after about 5 minutes. It's not romantic though!
So if you like pub crawling! You could start in Hand in Hand, then heading towards town: Sidewinder, Black Dove, perhaps nip left for a cocktail at Brighton Rocks, St James's Tavern for a Tuaca, Mucky Duck, Three and Ten - and you're still less only a 5 minute walk from home!
Eating-wise - a new place has opened in town to much excitement - 64 Degrees - lovely food, desserts were amazing. In Kemp Town village, there's 24 St George's, The Ginger Dog and Sam's.
Map & Parking
The nearest free car parking is located in Windmill Street about a 10 minute down hill walk back to the house. Zone C parking charges apply or a limited number of Visitor parking permits are available for £10 a day. 3 for £25 or 7 for £55.

This apartment is so glamorous inside it makes for a wonderful stay! We had a lovely night the bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The apartment is literally a 10 minute stroll into town where there are loads of fabulous pubs and restaurants to pick from, so it is literally perfectly located for a stay in Brighton. The beach is so close too if you walk to the end of the road you can see the sea. Recommend staying, we want to try and come back in the summer because of the fabulous private roof terrace! Thank you Marina!
Very easy transaction. Very helpful with email enquiries.

The house was spotlessly clean and very opulent in design. Yes, it was the perfect little getaway for a sexy weekend away! The location couldn't have been better - just a few minutes from the beach and The Lanes. So many bars to choose from as well as the historical Royal Pavillion and Brighton Pier. Check in and check out was the easiest method I have ever experienced. Thank you to Keystay.
“VERY CLEAN, VERY FUN & VERY UNIQUE”

We were really excited to check in after seeing the pictures online and we certainly weren't disappointed! This place is a really fun place to stay in a brilliant location and I'm pretty sure there is no where like it anywhere! This is definitely an idea couples retreat with some humorous touches! Comfy bed, very clean throughout, great smart TV in the bedroom and the roof terrace provided a great spot for a glass of champagne in the evening. The booking and check in process was very easy and communication was excellent with any questions answered straight away and a very friendly manner. Security deposit returned with no delay.
Will defiantly recommend and would look out for any Key Stay managed properties.
"Thoroughly enjoyed a short break in rococco surroundings a stone's throw from the sea.The roof terrace sun trap is a lovely feature and was much used. The location, which is ten minutes on foot from the centre is just right, close enough for convenience but beyond the run of bars and clubs. Definitely an excellent alternative to a hotel. We stayed Friday through Sunday nights which allowed a full weekend and a commute to work in London Monday morning. I would recommend that to anyone thinking of booking. Lots of good places are open late on Sunday making the third night well worth it."

"The apartment is quirky but brilliant, very clean and modern, right near the main Brighton Pier, champagne and basic supplies were in the fridge and parking permits were provided at a delight extra cost."
"The service was thoughtful and pleasant. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and will definitely stay there again".
“Great little place close to sea. Very Brighton vibe.”
"A great little place to stay in Brighton. The communication was very fast and lots of information was provided about the surrounding area. It's not too far from the lanes and if you don't want to pay for temporary parking permit its a 10 min walk to park car which is fine. I also left my jumper by mistake and the owner immediately posted it back to me which was very kind :-) Thank you! Fully recommended!"★ ★ ★ ★ ★
"You won't be disappointed!"
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "The communication from booking was amazing, no questions were left unanswered and details provided were above and beyond. The property was amazing, everything and more you could hope for. It's location was spot on, close enough to get to everything but discreet enough to feel like you were away from things when you wanted to be."
"Best place to stay in Brighton!"
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a last-minute weekend stay at See Saw Sea at the end of February and I can say with 100% confidence that this is by far the BEST place I have ever stayed at in Brighton!
Easy access to the property via a key pin pad on the door, meant that my partner and I could arrive at any time and at our own leisure - this is a huge plus point!!!
The property itself is absolutely stunning, clean and so comfortable. There is an impeccable attention to detail and a lovely roof terrace area, which I'd imagine would be divine in the summer (we are planning on coming back again soon)! My deposit was returned to my bank account withing hours of us checking out of the property - which I have never experienced before with other holiday home owners!
FANTASTIC! If you are planning a stay in Brighton - then look no further - this is a no-brainer!!!!!
We stayed here for 2 nights and it's a very beautiful little apartment! Everything has been thought of! Very close to everything you need, restaurants, bars and beach but you'll probably want to stay in and cosy up for a romantic night instead once you see the place! Brilliant if you need any recommendations -just ask! Loved the bath in the bedroom and bed was soooooo comfy! Thank you and would recommend to anyone wanting a naughty weekend away
"See Saw Sea has now become my preferred place to stay" ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
As a rule I never really write reviews for places I stay at but had to take the time out to quickly post one about See Saw Sea. I stayed here a few weeks ago for a weekend away and absolutely loved everything about it. The keyless entry made checking in so easy. The deco is amazing and so well thought through. I felt completely relaxed from the moment I walked in the door and could have stayed in without venturing out anywhere for the whole weekend. It’s so central to the town centre that I didn’t have to walk far to any of the shops & restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here and have already re-booked for another weekend in the next couple of months. See saw sea has now become my preferred place to stay for all my weekends in Brighton.

See Saw Sea is a no smoking and no pets property. You can smoke at the front of the property outside or on the terrace. We would recommend that children don't stay due to the erotic library and paintings. However, we can remove the library if you would like to take children. Our only other rule is that you leave all your stresses and strains of every day life firmly at the door, and walk into a serene space where fantasies can be fulfilled and the embers of passion can be rekindled.
